COMPOSITION:
Each 1 ml contains:
Active substance (s):
Spectinomycin 50 mg (as spectinomycin dihydrochloride pentahydrate)
Excipients:
Benzoic acid (Preservative) 1 mg
Tartrazine yellow (E102) 0.6 mg
TARGET SPECIES: Sheep (lambs)
INDICATIONS:
For the prevention of bacterial neonatal disease (e.g. watery mouth disease) in lambs which are at risk of colostrum deprivation.
METHOD AND ROUTE(S) OF ADMINISTRATION:
Oral route: Administer Specto-K directly, using the plunger included into the box.
Each pump of the plunger delivers 1 ml of the product, containing 50 mg of spectinomycin.
Lambs: 1 pump (1 ml) once only as soon as possible after birth and within 48 hours of birth.
